About Glendale, Arizona

Glendale City is situated right on the northwest border of Phoenix. This is considered the fourth in the list of large cities in Arizona and has been established in 1892. Up to this day, the city remains rich in its cultural heritage that can be seen in their tree-lined town square. They even have red brick sidewalks that line up along its streets. These are all the unique features of the city that can be found in the downtown area. The city is home to the Arizona Cardinals of the popular National Football Conference. They used to play at the Sun Devil Stadium which can be found right on the campus of Arizona State University. The stadium was designed by world renowned architect Peter Eisenman and was featured in an episode of The History Channel TV series. Glendale is filled with numerous world renowned universities, one of them is Glendale Community College. The reason why there are lots of people who visit the city is because of the many notable events that it plays host to. These events include the Glendale Chocolate Festival, the Annual Glendale Jazz and Blues Festival, and the Glendale Glitters. The city is more than just a pretty and festive place.
