The New Castle County Court House is located in New Castle, Delaware. New Castle, Delaware was actually the very first capital of Delaware and it was founded in the year 1651. It was the home to the Dutch, Native Americans and to the British.

The Zwaanendael Museum is located in Lewes, Delaware. The museum is informative and the architecture is just stunning. You will learn things that you did not know about Delaware. The Zwaanendael Museum is free and the size of the museum is modest.



8. Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame

The Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame is an organization that is membership based and founded in the year 1976. They have a museum that exhibits at the Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. The Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame is located in Wilmington, Delaware.

Glasgow Park is located in Newark, Delaware. The park is beautiful and it has a playground plus a skate board park. The Glasgow Park also has tennis and basketball courts. They also have a 2.6 mile loop for walking and trials for bicycling and much more.

The Nemours Mansion and Gardens is another famous attraction that is located in Wilmington, Delaware. You'll be able to see a beautiful mansion and incredible gardens. In order to visit the Nemours Mansion and Gardens you will need a reservation and when you go to visit this stunning place you will feel as if you are in Europe.

The Delaware Seashore State Park is located almost near Dewey Beach, Delaware. The Delaware Seashore State Park covers around 2,825 acres. You can go boating, surfing, fishing and even sail boarding.
