In the US Nevada is the 35th state that is the most populous and the 7th state that is the most extensive. Nevada has large amounts of desert plus semiarid. People also call Nevada the "Silver State" because it played a big role with silver. Here are the top ten Nevada attractions.

10. Pinball Hall of Fame

The Pinball Hall of Fame is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has pinball machines that come from a variety of eras. Some of the machines are very rare such as Williams Black Gold and the Pinball Circus.



9. Southern Nevada Zoological-Botanical Park

The Southern Nevada Zoological-Botanical Park is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's a botanical garden and it's also a nonprofit Zoological Park. The park also has a gift shop that's small and it has a gem exhibit area.



8. Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay

The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is located in Las Vegas Nevada. The aquarium is public and it's one of the biggest aquariums that's in North America. It has a variety of species such as rays, sharks, reptiles and fish.



7. Las Vegas Springs Preserve

The Las Vegas Springs Preserve is located in Las Vegas Nevada. It is dedicated to nature displays and to nature walks. The preserve has outdoor concerts, museum galleries and much more.



6. Wild Island

Wild Island is located in Sparks Nevada. Some of the attractions include the Black Widow, Montego Bay, Little Lagoon, Zulu Racer, Horseshoe Pits and it also has a Beach Volleyball Court. There are many things to do at Wild Island.

The Circus Circus Reno is located in Reno Nevada. It's a hotel plus it's also a very famous casino.



4. Adventuredome

Adventuredome is located in Las Vegas Nevada. It's an indoor amusement park. Some of the attractions include the Frog Hopper, Circus Carousel, Canyon Cars, Road Runner and the Canyon Blaster.



3. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located in Reno Nevada. Over one million people visit the canyon per year. La Madre Mountain is the highest point. There are many hiking trails plus some picnic areas.



2. Great Basin National Park

The Great Basin National Park is located in Baker Nevada. It was established back in the year 1986. Some of the mammals you might see at the Great Basin National Park include coyotes, badgers and pronghorns. It has over 61 species of mammals and over 238 species of birds, 8 species of fish, 18 species of reptiles and two species of amphibians.

The Las Vegas Strip is a strip that stretches 4.2 miles and it's located in Clark County, Nevada. It has many modern casinos, hotels, restaurants and casinos on the strip. It's one of the most popular destinations that tourists visit.
